It is with great pride and honour that we bring you ‘The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Commemorative Teddy Bear’.This extraordinary Merrythought bear has been created as the ultimate, enduring tribute to Her Majesty the Queen during the year she celebrates 70 years of reign; the first British monarch to achieve such accolade.
A collectable bear like no other, she has been beautifully hand-crafted from customised, platinum-tipped diamond white mohair plush, subtly combined with pure cotton velvet paws. Brought to life with incredible attention to detail throughout, her noble yet characterful expression is enhanced by deep blue eyes and a neatly hand-stitched nose and smile. Her left paw is embroidered with the years 1952 and 2022, in between which sits the royal crown.
She is presented wearing a splendid pure cotton velvet coronation robe, featuring satin lining, woven white faux fur edging, and extensive gold thread embroidery. Keeping true to the original Imperial robe, it is accessorised with two satin bows and luxury Italian tassels to finish.
However, the pièce de résistance to her ensemble is undoubtedly her crown; an impressive, silver-plated replica of the Imperial state crown, which Her Majesty wore as she left Westminster Abbey during her coronation. Adorned with 26 glass gemstones, pure cotton velvet lining and white woven faux fur trim, it is a masterpiece in its own right, and once placed upon the head of this unique bear, creates a finishing touch of exceptional elegance and regality.
